From the President

Welcome to the Microscopy Society of the Ohio River Valley (MSORV).

After a few years hiatus, MSORV is back.  MSORV is a local affiliated society of the Microscopy Society of America (MSA) and the Microbeam Analysis Society (MAS).  At our Fall 2007 meeting in Cincinnati we elected a new slate of officers, who will be working hard to bring everyone an enjoyable and learning experience at our two meeting every year.  We encourage everyone who uses any type of microscopy to join and attend these meetings.  Meetings will be held in the Spring and Fall (April and October) and will rotate between Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus, or any other city that the membership wishes.

As the newly elected president of MSORV I promise that all who join and attend MSORV meetings will go home with something new, whether it is new knowledge or meeting someone new.
